Indigo Expat plans (CFE, Classic) – 2025 conditions
Indigo Expat plans (CFE, Classic) have been reviewed by Allianz. And new conditions apply from January 1st 2025. To end, new premiums come into effect at the renewal date of your contract.

As a reminder, please note that Indigo Expat plans insured and administered by Allianz Worldwide Care are in Run Off. Practically speaking, les premiums with AWC increase faster than those with our new products insured by Vyv IB. For example: Indigo Expat WeCare (1er €), OnePack (CFE) or Junior.

Indigo Expat plans – medical inflation
In summary, renewal mainly take into account the following parameters:
- first, the updated age of each insured,
- second, technical results,
- third, medical inflation.
Thus, the cost of health continues to increase in the world. Global medical inflation is projected to +10% in 2025. An updated report should be available at the end of this year.

Please note that technical results are bad in Singapore. Many Insurers noted a significant and quick increase of medical costs in Singapore. And some of them speak of a catch-up effect over the period linked to Covid. If this trend continues in 2025, AWC will probably increase significantly premiums for Singapore in 2026.
Indigo Expat plans on Top Up CFE
CFE modified its zones of coverage on January 1st 2024. By withdrawing, the CFE automatically transfers costs to the Top Up plans or to the insured. Consequently, Indigo Expat plans on Top Up to CFE should be impacted with the following 3 years.
The following countries switched from zone:
- 1 to zone 2: Bahrain, New Caledonia, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam,
- 2 to zone 1: Iraq, Tchad,
- 2 to zone 3: Angola, Lebanon, Thailand,
- 3 to zone 4: Austria,
- 4 to zone 3: Russia,
- 4 to zone 5: Singapore, Switzerland.
